Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
